Has anyone else experienced depression when taking digoxin?

For some unknown reason... EP's love to give Digoxin. I have taken this drug several times with all kinds of effects. I now just tell the doctors and hospitals I am allergic to this med. As stated by Hans.. avoid this drug if all all possible if not outright refusal.

I agree with Doug. Mike's doc tried to put him on it. When I told him what I had read about digoxin he argued the point. We went to a new doctor who put him on flecanide, a more appropriate drug for him. I hope the depression lifts....been there, done that. Wishing you well.

Thank you all. I will definitely bring this up at my checkup in April.

Andrea, doctors give advice, not orders. You do not need to wait until you have permission from the prescribing doctor to stop taking a medication that is hurting you. Who is getting paid here, you or the doctor?
