Thanks. This is big news. GA was the major disadvantage for PFA, and now hopefully we can get it under conscious sedation. Although based on experience here in the US, it will be hard to change the habits of many EPs, because they just like us, really "knocked out and still" in the words of one of my EPs. And yet, in Europe and elsewhere, they do just fine with conscious sedation, which IMO respects the patient's recovery more than the EPs convenience, even though they will give lots of other reasons it's used.
