Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I’m thankful for this forum and all those who give so much of their time, energy, knowledge, and wisdom to those of us who visit here. THANK YOU!

Thanks for your thanks, and I'll add my own. This forum has been a tremendous resource. I don't know how much 'fly-by' traffic it gets where it helps those who might never bother to register and to participate, but I have enjoyed my time here and have profited from the information I have received.

Thanks, Everyone!

I totally agree with what has been said. Thanks to Carey and comments from others, I learned I had to travel to a top tier EP after 2 failed ablations done locally. As of today, I am AFIB free for 3 years and 2 months!! I hope my luck continues!!

I don't know how much 'fly-by' traffic it gets where it helps those who might never bother to register and to participate,

The site gets hundreds more visitors per month than there are registered users, so there are plenty of lurkers. There are also hundreds of registered users who have never made a single post. Some of them registered decades ago.

And THANK YOU to everyone who makes this site what it is. This site is based on peer support from a community of people from all over the world, not just the couple of us who keep the lights on. We couldn't do it without you. The site literally wouldn't exist.

And I'll take this opportunity to drop a little teaser. We're going to be announcing a significant organizational change in the near future. But don't worry -- nothing about how the site works will change.

I should also mention that for unknown reasons, donations have been down the last couple of months and this is the worst time of year for that to happen because all our major expenses come due at the end of the year and start of the new year. If you can spare a little to help keep the lights on, please click here and then click the "Donations" link at the top right of the page. While you're at it, you might want to read Shannon's welcome message.

You can donate via Paypal or credit card. (Paypal does NOT collect a fee from you or from us when you use it.) All donations are tax deductible for US citizens, and may be deductible in other countries as well. We are a registered 501(c)(3) corporation.
