Dr Natale's staff is failing me - Any experience with Dr. Vivek Reddy?

Had an ablation with Dr Natale for PACs in 2023, but unfortunately they came back non-stop after 7 months. Flec+Met barely keeping them at bay (lots of breakthroughs).

Been trying to schedule a follow-up with him for the last month and a half, but his staff keeps promising someone will call me and yet no one calls. I inquire weekly, same response...and nothing happens.

I am tired at this point, this has nothing to do with him, but his stuff sucks, sorry. So unprofessional.

Going to call Dr Reddy this week. Anyone has experience with him? Thank you!

I have run into this sort of issues with Dr offices in general more than I used to.

Have you spoken with Norma? She's Natale's scheduler. If you haven't talked to her, you're talking to the B team. If you haven't, call one more time and ask for her specifically.

Norma, Kim...then someone else (forgot name). Literally feels like right hand not talking to left hand. You would think that as an existing patient, you would get a better treatment but no, quite the opposite. In fact, I notice almost a dismissal of my symptoms as if it were all up in my head or something. Thankfully my Kardia and Holter prove me right lol...23% PACs burden is no fun!

I am waiting one more day, then I am calling Reddy in NYC.

I would give Norma one more call.

That's very frustrating. Hope you get a call back soon. I had a good experience with Dr. Reddy and his team 2 years ago. As Susan said there might be a long wait, but worth to try. Wish you luck.

Did you have an ablation? My heart is only getting worst with PVCs. Drugs are not helping because I’m in constant pain from a surgical wound problem and I noticed my PVCs are more violent. I’m hoping they get a cancellation.

Thank you very much, Carey. I am happy to report that, after what was going to be my last email to Norma a few hrs ago, the man himself just called me!

So happy to finally hear from him! He says that this time around we should do a mapping, aka an ablation during which basically I'll be awake. Ouch! But he says it's the only way he can spot where these PACs are coming from, given the anesthesia tends to suppress them.

Not looking forward to that, but at this point I'll do whatever it takes.

Anyone has any experience with an awake mapping? How bad is it?

And Carey.... please feel free to change the title of my original post lol...I am obviously in a completely different mood right now that he called me lol. I am still not happy that it took them this long, but it is what it is I guess.....

I edited it to tone it down a notch, but left the sentiment intact because they needed a bit of a wakeup. Who knows, maybe they saw this thread and that's why you heard from him. It wouldn't be the first time an EP or their staff has altered their behavior because of things posted on this forum. More people pay attention to what's posted here without ever posting than most people realize.

I experienced a similar issue during that same time frame in effort to schedule my Watchman procedure.....had to call several days in a row to speak to the appropriate person, even though I left messages for someone to call me back. I learned that the person who was their procedure scheduler had left and they attempted to cover with other staff until a new scheduler was on board. Not an excuse,,,,,,possible explanation for the less than normal experience.

Susan, yes I had a PF ablation with him. Sorry you are suffering so much, I hope you get some relief soon.

Shannon, Dr. Natale’s “right hand person” took a job out-of-state recently and that might have created a glitch in communication. In my experience with his staff, the response was always very quick and on point. Glad you got a call from the man himself and hope things go well.
