"Current study reveals that berberine has inhibitory effect in pro-inflammatory cytokine-activated BEAS-2B cells through reducing IL-6 and CCL11 production, which is possibly modulated by suppressing STAT6 signaling pathway."

Hi

Being a clinical immunologist with AF, I woukd like to respond to this paper. The inflammatory pathway recited relates to allergic inflammation. The only part that relates to AF is mention of IL-6 which is proinflammatory. Its production is stimulated by a more relevant pro inflammatory cytokine , called IL1beta. This cytokine is secreted by signals from unhealthy life styles. IL-1 beta inhibits an enzyme that is needed for energy production for pacemaker cells to functioni. Magnesium (Mg) binds to a molecule needed for the energy enzyme to function. When deficits in Mg occur in AF pacemaker cells in combination with the inhibitory effect on the energy enzyme by IL-1beta,tthe end result is reduced energy for pacemaker cells needed to function. In turn other cells takeover to create AF. The point is replenishing Mg may allow pacemaker cells to reignite the electrical impulses characteristic of SR. That sums my hypothesis to explain why I believe Mg replenishment can if done properly can restart SR, all described in my protocol that has reversed mycAFvto SR.

I would suggest that linking your prior post (and I selected what I thought most complete) where you go into more detail would be good for people to be able to refer to without you having to repeat all the detail.
