Nattokinase

Has anyone taken Nattokinase to prevent clots and at what dose ?
I am particularly interested in responses from women.

I started taking nattokinase as part of an anti-spike-protein protocol recommended by Dr. McCullough at 4,000 FU/day. I later learned about its anti-clotting benefits. Currently, I've upped the dose to 8,000 FU/day.

No, I have not noticed any side effects (or any sensible effects for that matter) that I could attribute to the nattokinase. Currently, I have a bottle of Mystidow brand nattokinase, purchased from Amazon. Previously, I recall taking the Pure Encapsulations brand. I have on-deck a bottle of Dr. Mercola brand.

You might ask your doctor to check your clotting mechanism, INR.

I have taken Nattokanase since about 2007. I had a stroke in 2006 from Warfarin and having UC. Research found Nattokanase on the internet. The only symptoms I had was a weird tingle feeling in my right arm and ringing in my right ear. After six cat scans the white squiggle in my brain shrunk to nothing. I take 100mg morning and night. Do not combine it with any other blood thinners. It is a clot dissolver not really a thinner. Lots of info on web if its still there.

I was taking Natto for the last 3 months. I noticed that my platelet count had sunk below the lower range. So did my primary care doc. I stopped taking it while building the counr back up. Maybe I took too much at 250mg 3 times a week..I guess it works though..
