Very interesting, Susan, and thanks. At first glance, it might seem disappointing that the stats suggest that, by 48 months, there is little substantial difference in 'reported QoL' from the surveys. However, about 50% of the initial sampling in the AAD set had gone on to get ablations, probably because the drugs were losing their effects and/or the paroxysmal AF was obviously progressing and the consulting EPs in those cases said an ablation was indicated.
