Just checking In after Ablation

Just checking In after Ablation

I am on day 10 after my RFA. Still a bit tired but functioning very well! No episodes since the procedure! Groin bruising is healing, the right side worse than left. Biggest thing for me was the anesthesia. I was under for 3 hours and waking up was tough, I was shivering uncontrolable but that passed in about an hour. Hospital stay was 11 hours.

It was a long wait for this ablation with many bumps in the road leading up to it, I remain positive. C

Cheers to all

This is good to see. Congratulations. If this is your first ablation, it can take a while to 'calm down' and for your heart to settle. It may have an elevated HR for several months, so don't be dismayed to find this is the case for you. Happens to almost all of us to a certain extent.
