I don't like being drugged up or cut up in my quest to find relief or even a cure for AFIB.
Rather, I search for Non Invasive methods to deal with this problem.
Several months ago, I came across a company in Israel named "CardiaCare" who have created an interesting device which :
1. Wraps around your wrist like a wristwatch...
2. Monitors your heart on a continuous basis for problems like AFIB and other arrythmias.
3. Claims that through stimulation of the Vagus Nerve via the wrist, it can reduce PAC (premature atrial contractions) which are a precursor to AFIB attacks and can decrease those attacks.

It is not currently available in the U.S. as it has not been approved by the F.D.A. yet.

The new device applies stimulation while you are in afib. When you did it by your device, did you do stimulation while in afib or in between

If you're referring to the Tens Unit device in my other post, the answer is "No", I did not use it during the 1 Afib attack I experienced in my 6 month trial period.

The reason I did not use it was- According to the study I copied from U. of Oklahoma Medical their unit was not affective in stopping or cutting short an Afib attack. Instead, it reduced the total number of attacks by 85% after 6 months of use ( comparing those who used the real device vs. those who used the sham device).
