There is a battery recall on pacemakers and ICU devices, this is from St. Judes, so anyone that has a device implanted from St. Judes should check to see if their device is OK. I have a pacemaker from St. Judes and i checked, it is not on the recall, thank goodness.

I also have a St. Jude pacemaker. I was glad to find out that the recall only applies to ICDs and CRT-Ds, all of which can deliver shocks, not the "garden variety" pacemakers that fix bradycardia or sick sinus issues.
