Bob - from time to time, hawthorne has been mentioned here on the forum. It is almost always mentioned in various websites for treating arrhythmias but many of us have found that hawthorne doesn't offer improvment and may cause a worsening. It tends to lower blood pressure and heart rate so if one is already low, then that's counterproductive.
If you are a vagal afibber, that may be a contraindication for using hawthorne. It was for me. I tried it early on in my afib journey and found it increased the frequency of events most likely because my HR and Bp were already on the low side.
