A little over 2 weeks ago I had a Cat scan of my pelvic area---it was to determine if I had a fracture in my Sacrum (it was thought I did based on an X-ray i previously had), the C Scan showed that I did not but the radiologist said "Aortic Vascular Calcification" is noted. That worried me a lot, and it was a good thing that I had a scheduled apt with my EP today, I took the copy of the report with me. He was able to get an Ultra Sound scheduled immediately, I was greatly relieved when the ultra sound showed the aortic is normal, no calcification.
I of course am very glad but am wondering about this Regional Medical Imaging place that I have been sent to, I don't believe I will ever go back there. I would be doubtful of everything they say, how can they say I have Aortic Vascular Calcification, that should be rather easy to spot or not spot, am I right or being too harsh
