Cooked chicken bones

Cooked chicken bones
March 16, 2014 08:45PM
Hello everybody,

I vaguely remember mentioning this long ago but I can't remember the answers.

After we pick up a cooked chicken from a natural chicken place we both eat the chicken but I also eat the bones chewing off the ends. I have got quite used to them and find them tasty.

Any reports on chicken bones ends? Am I going into strange territory?

Thanks

Alex

Alex - the collagen from the chicken joint ends of bones is useful protein. When you cook bones and drink the broth, you also gain minerals from the bone content. If you are actually eating the hard bone content, be very sure that you chew down to a fine meal so that shards of undigested bone don't damage your intestine.
