I am a great fan of what I call "overall fitness' - something which may be difficult to achieve during AFib, but it shoud be in the minds of all as a goal.
Aspects I consider important:
Strength
Endurance
Flexibility
Body composition (fat vs muscle vs bone/bone strength and strength; flexibility and usefulness of tendons and ligaments)
Vital body fitness - appropriate blood pressure, cholesterol, cortisol, and other marks of good health
Nutrition
Psychological well-being including appropriate sleep, attitudes, well-being.
I could add in financial well-being and some other things.
So, what is your reaction to the above listing? Do you agree or disagree?
Do you find it possible?
Are these goals you also have. Have you thought about them?
Please respond!!
