Eating orange peels
September 02, 2012 01:15AM
My partner's tree grows lots of little oranges without pesticides and when we don't have them we have larger organic oranges from a nearby store.

I have developed a habit of eating the small oranges complete including the peel. This is a combination of supposed to be health benefits and laziness. With most of my life used up I don't want to spend any of the remainder on peeling oranges.

I can't say I love the peel taste, but I don't mind it and ensure beats the labour of peeling.

Is there some limit to the amount of peel one should have? I eat a lot of oranges.

Thanks

Alex

I just slice mine in half and bite into it pulling it out.
I like the hard to peel oranges the best.
Don't throw away those orange peeling's jus yet.
Plenty of uses for them on the web.
How to reuse your orange peels.
Just one of many websites. Probably a lot of stuff on Youtube also.
