Study Indicates Daily Aspirin Could Up Risk of Macular Degeneration For Elderly
It could be that taking an aspirin a day may more than double a persons chances of developing the wet form of age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
Research published in the journal, Ophthalmology, suggests an association. Daily aspirin users had more than twice the risk of developing wet AMD than non-users.
If you take a daily aspirin, it would be smart to do extended research on eye health risks vs. the cardiovascular and anti-colon cancer benefits.
