Looks like I will need to replace my older Nordictrack 1750. Several years ago, just days after the warranty expired, had issues and thankfully Nordictrack sent out a new FREE console and since husband is quite handy and an electrical engineer he had no problem replacing it. Well fast forward a few more years and now while it still works, that darn iFit gets in a viscous never ending loop that you can't get out of. I don't use iFit and don't need or want it. I just want to be able to turn it on, hit manual and walk. A little incline, a little decline. That's it.
Looking at the Sole F80 maybe. Doesn't have the iFit. I think it should meet my needs. I prefer treadmill to walking around the neighborhood. Very hot here, weather days, dogs etc. I prefer to just walk inside these days.
Any good recommendations on a nice treadmill not over 2K? OR IF anyone has any tips to get rid of the iFit or bypass it. Yep, googled and googled, husband has managed to get past it a few times but IF the power flickers or goes out with weather or whatever, back to square one again. I think he is just "done" with it at this point. Although that too has happened and he tries again and is eventually successful. Time will tell. But this time I'm kinda done with it. I want it to work when I hit start and not go thru this every few months or so. Plus I will need it for my post ablation recovery phase. I tried a site today but eventually it led me to the credit card payment screen to ask a "technician" anything else.
