Dr Seyfried is onto something that's not acknowledged by the mainstream

. i'm familiar with his work and the work of many others, including 'mainstream'.
My wife was recently diagnosed with oesophageal cancer that extends into the stomach lining.
We had a consultation with the second in charge (oncologist) from one of the top oncology hospitals in Australia.
He said that they give glucose to the patient prior to scanning for spreading of the initial cancer because tumour cells preferentially metabolise glucose (as well as glutamine).
So i asked: 'Why then wouldn't you put a patient into nutritional ketosis to begin with?' He began to bullshit about protein requirements (being on keato is not a risk for low protein intake

). I just got up and walked out.
These guys suffer from cognitive dissonance
