I have been on Multaq for about two years since my ablation at Duke that was not quite successful. I have not had obvious side effects but my creatine level today was 1.2. My EP is monitoring kidney functioning and liver functioning and my BUN slightly elevated too. I just sent Dr. Bahnson a note about my internal medicine doctor's lab work today. Does anyone know of folks having serious liver and kidney conditions (or other serious side effects) arising from Multaq? It is supposed to be the mildest and perhaps safest but... I have been dehydrated because I play tennis 4 times a week in Durham, NC and it has been HOT. Taking electrolytes, 1000 mg magnesium (the good kind!), potassium, etc. but I had played today for two hours prior to the lab work.
