Bisoprolol for preventing AF?

I've recently moved to another town and my new cardiologist suggests replacing my daily Flecainide by daily Bisoprolol. Has anyone any experience with using Bisoprolol to prevent afib?

Greetings Tom
Please refer to my post 10.18.03 Chris H “ cardio visit”. Obviously Bisoprolol didn’t work for me, a lot depends on if your form of AFib is Vagal or Adrenergic. Please refer to [www.vagalafibportal.fsnet.co.uk] this explains it. However everyone is different and you could be dominant in one form i.e. be mixed. Personally I would try and find out your Cardio’s plan of action and how much he knows about AFib. Bisoprolol is a beta-blocker and probably has less side effects than Flec but I would confirm this with your Cardio.
Knowledge is power.
