            <description><![CDATA[ Thanks, Susan.  This is right up my alley, and it confirms what I had understood from the beginning of my own journey with AF.  I was maybe quite fortunate to have had a military background where I literally had to learn to sleep when and how I found myself when wanting to nod off.  So, my adaptation to all that PAP therapy involves was not hard, and was actually quite swift.  It was four years later that I had my first of two ablations, but the PAP therapy held it at bay for a while.  Then, the progression took hold and the rest is history for me.<br />

I average 7 hours of use each night, and my month-over-month average to date for AHI (Apnea Hypopnea Index, it being the total number of hours of sleep/usage each night divided by the total number of &#039;events&#039; detected by the machine) is a teeth-girttingly enviable 0.5.  Some PAP users would kill to see their AHI drop down below 4.0 events /hr. :X<br />
