All the data I read in the medical literature indicatesl Mg oxides l is possibly the worse Mg supplement because of its low absorption. Yes cheap but basically a good laxative like Mg hydroxide and Mg sulfate .

I do take a magnesium supplement for constipation. No idea if it’s medical grade. It is:

Life Extension Magnesium Caps, 500 mg, magnesium oxide, citrate, succinate, heart health, healthy bones, metabolism support, 100 vegetarian capsules. I usually take two a day but just now I see the serving size is one a day. I buy it on Amazon and used to buy a different formula but it wasn’t available the last time I ordered so they recommended this one. The other was twice a day. One capsule is 119% daily value.

I now need to edit my history. I’m in afib again this morning so I’ll be taking flecainide twice daily again.

Hi Pamela Jean

Simply put your medical history is incredibly complex.I don’t know where u live but if I had your history which I couldn’t because I am a male although males rarely can have breast cancer, I would seek a second opinion at a major well known university med center..
Here is my simple take. Because I believe , now more than ever , as a physician that magnesium supplementation with my protocol converted my AF to SR now for 18 months , I would make sure I was on a good scientific based magnesium program, because the evidence for Mg deficiency with AF is so strong. The thryroid issue for sure can trigger AF but still I would not ignore the liklihood of Mg deficiency playing a role. i
