Hello everyone, So two days before my afib incident that sent me to the hospital in January, I had a chest tightness or constriction of the chest. Two day later I have the afib event. I told the doctors and cardiologist about this tightness and they put it down as afib related. So for the next two months, every time i would walk fast I would get this tightness and of course slow down a lot. Consby Bileswil - AFIBBERS FORUM
If you have a hole in your heart, not due to being jilted by a lover, my sister has a hole in her heart. The Navy cardiologist put a nickle plug in, if you will, via catherization. Turns out, she now has continuous PVC's. Turns out she is allergic to nickle and quess what, the plug is made of, nickle. I am not an expert and hope I never am. Make sure you get tested for allergies and find outby Bileswil - AFIBBERS FORUM
Really nice. Went through the whole course. I was pre-med and remember half, but that was 40 years ago. I saw my EKG during my echo-stress test. Thanks, I am now educated on the different heart beats. Just don't let me read yours, I am guaranteed to miss diagnose your EKG. Great info! Thanks again.by Bileswil - AFIBBERS FORUM
I'm also new to the site. This forum is awesome! I know we are not doctors, but many people have lived the experience. I have gotten a whole lot of information from this site. It loads me up with knowledge, so I can ask informed questions to my cardiologist. Don't be scared, stay calm and try different ways to relax. Sounds like you are apprehensive about your heart and that raiseby Bileswil - AFIBBERS FORUM
Sounds like you do a lot of flying. You are correct 100%. My doctor at ALPA has been tracking this, right along with me and he has direct contact with the FAA medical. Thanks again and let me know if you find anything else. Once again, thank you very much. Willisby Bileswil - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks GMPERF, ABPAGE and Jackie. I am talking with my Doctor at ALPA. ALPA is our union and they have a medical team to assist us on this journey. He has been quit helpful. Yesterday the nurse called from my EP's office and said my echo-stress test was normal. Yes, I was shocked, that with so many PVC's, it was normal. I will be talking to my EP on March 9th and ask him about an ablby Bileswil - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks AB Page. I do not believe I have sleep apnea. I read studies on the condition. I sleep 6-8 hours a night, never feel tired and never feel like napping during the day. My wife says I do snore, but I have a very restful sleep at night. When I wake, I am in the same position, with my covers on. My breathing does not stop, my wife informed me, and once again I feel rested and energized. I wilby Bileswil - AFIBBERS FORUM

I am new to the forum and so far have found it to be incredibly informative. Talked to Shannon for over an hour. Great guy with a lot of info and very very helpful.
