Thank you all for the input and great feedbacks. Personally, I use amazon.com rating system (to see hundreds of personal experiences) + labdoor.com independent 3rd party testing to evaluate which ones to try. Then try and evaluate over long period of time.by Roel - AFIBBERS FORUM
@Libby, interestingly, in the hospital, I found it extremely difficult to swallow any medicine. Never had issues with it before that (could swallow a hand full in one gulp, and can that again now even though it is slightly harder then before). But in the hospital even one cap could make me gag. In that case it was directly related to one of the meds I was taking. It made me feal nauseous, dizzy/fby Roel - AFIBBERS FORUM
History; double bypass with complications - mainly pleural effusion and persistent afib in spite of medication. First cardioversion worked at 70 joule, then afib (or more correctly flutter) came back. After second cardioversion (read more on this below) afib did not return. Dean, yes that sounds of interest. I have this one at home; (admins; if for some reason linking to products is now allowed please feel free to delete the link or even my whole post. It is not my intention to advertise or spam, only to get Dean's thoughts on this particular Natto supplement.) Thank you Jackie! They gave me two magnesium (and potassium) infusions after the operation (due to deficiency I believe). I now take; Magnesium Taurate 1x120 1x45mg (Cardiovascular research brand - many positive reviews on Amazon in terms of afib), and Magnesium Aspartate dihydrate 4x37.4mg (Blackmores magmin - started in hospital - seemingly a highly available form of Magnesium suitable fby Roel - AFIBBERS FORUM
Would a natto supplement (like the powder from bulk supplements) do the same? I have a pack at homeby Roel - AFIBBERS FORUM
The alkaline side seemed to me as pro-inflammatory. As the family has a epigenetic or genetic high histamine level, it seems that acidity helps a lot for us. But each person is bio-unique. I guess if one has somewhat regular rashes, or indications of inflammation, or regular sicknesses, then perhaps it may be worthwhile to look into the acid side more. That said, I am not sure what the long termby Roel - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you Carey & The Anti-Fib! Re: the cardio version joule, I understand it is different for monophasic and biphasic machines. Not sure which one they used. Thanks for the info on Solavert/Sotalol. I take 40+80mg now (40+40 before) and the 40+80mg does seem to work a bit better. Interestingly, I also feel more sick with the 40+80mg, inc chest tightness. In total no where near as badby Roel - AFIBBERS FORUM
I had double bypass with afib as a complication besides a large left lung pleural effusion. I am 5 weeks post-op. Body is recovering well, which includes the pleural effusion in a natural way. Blood tests shows light anaemia (seems to be improving), and mild thrombocytosis (definitely improving). Heart does not seem to be recovering at all. I had double bypass with afib as a complication besides pleural effusion. First time it went away with medicine after one day. Then came back. Then one week of meds did not do anything and had a cardioversion. One shock (at 70 joules I think) did it and put me back into sinus. Then went home and got it again. As the Amiodarone as an AF agent (with Metoprolol as beta blocker) had very bad side effby Roel - AFIBBERS FORUM
We personally use zerowater. If you double filter (i.e. have one pitcher and one desktop larger reservoir and filter first with the pitcher, and then with the reservoir and swap the filter in the reservoir to the pitcher when the reading on the digital included meter (make sure you get one) is more then 0) then you can run quite long on their filters.
