Scott,
I use flecainide successfully, and am greatful for it keeping me in NSR, however I do not want to take it forever. My alternatives are to apply nutrition, (Paleo since Feb.) and to take a regimen of supplements that Dr. Gersten prescribed, based on a multitude of tests that I took. I will continue to take flec. for another approx. 6 mths, until I feel I have my levels of nutrients back in line, then I will attempt its removal from my system and see what happens. I urge you to go to the conference room and read. Scott, you are very young, and your body is still able to do amazing things, at least that's what I strongly believe, providing you give it the tools to work with, and remove any stresses from your life. I'm 57, but I look at it this way. I had a good number of years of eating what I wanted, and just plain having a good time with no worries. Now it's down to get down to business. I will eat to live, not live to eat. I will be dedicated to getting my body back to its optimum levels, and hopefully have one more chance to turn my health around. This is, in my opinion, an important link I found last night and posted in the CR, and to Bill on his post.

By the way, I took flec. for a year and it quit working. I was off of it for a year, and then tried it again with success. I attribute this, in part, to my change in diet. Don't ask me why, as I'm really not sure. Best of health to you, Scott.
