If all else fails, you might consider dissolving the infected portion of the nail. This can be done with a prescription-strength urea paste. It is less painful than surgical nail removal."

Try boric acid. Kills all fungus.
At most pharmacies.
Ask pharmacist how to use it.

Another method to try is undiluted Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE) right on the nail and under the nail. It will take about 2 months before there is any sign of change...and another six months for the nail to appear healthy.

The People's Pharmacy reports people having luck with applications of Vicks. Others say dab on several times a day a bit of apple cider vinegar.

Keep in mind that curing a toenail fungus takes a very long time. I used natural means - the GSE and it took about a year for the nail to normalize.

Prevention: keep your shoes inside dry. Sprinkle the powdered form of GSE in the toes of your shoes. Fungus living inside shoes can reinfect the toenail. I get it from damp golf shoes that don't completely dry out.

GSE kills everything and it is completely natural. Good for traveler's diarrhea and sore throats, colds, flu, - you name it. Very inexpensive and very concentated. One bottle lasts forever.

Check it out by doing a google - GSE or the full name.

Good luck. Jackie
