Bursitis

While having a semi-annual checkup yesterday the doctor noticed a kind of fleshy lump over my kneecap which he said was bursitis. He seemed surprised that it did not bother me at all and therefore thought it best to do nothing about it. Since it is an inflammation I suspect that taking supplements like magnesium for Afib probably also has a side benefit for bursitis. Any thoughts?
