Slight chest discomfort on deep breaths

Slight chest discomfort on deep breaths

It's been a little over 2 weeks since I had my ablation. When I take very deep breaths, at the end of the breath there is still some slight discomfort in the chest area. I'm not sure if I would use the word "pain", but maybe some ache. Is this normal? I can't tell if it's my esophagus, or chest/diaphragm area, or what. And, again, it's usually only at the end of a very deep breath. Should I be concerned at all?

Has this been present since the ablation or is it new? If it's new, you should isolate yourself because it could be COVID-19. If it's been present all along, I wouldn't worry about it as long as it doesn't get worse. A dull ache is common following ablations, though it doesn't usually last more than a few days.

Since the ablation. Thanks Carey!

Carey's logic is warranted. I would take an spO2 reading and temp several times a day. If it's from the ablation you should see stable numbers. If < O2 and > temp then follow your communities local testing guidelines.

Also see the protocols for C19 listed in the health forum.

PC/MDs post has a lot of good info (I've been doing much of it since late Feb)

Thanks! I'm pretty sure it's related to the ablation. But, I'm self quarantining to be extra safe.

My PVCs causes my oxygen saturation from 83-90. Heavy breathing, worst laying down. Chills as well. No fever. Symptoms of PVCs? I’ve been isolated for 3 weeks.
