[Since taking metoprolol I have had a swollen feeling (on a d off) on the left side of my face. Has anyone experienced a feeling of swelling on the face or anywhere else on the body while taking metoprolol?

Not with that one, which I do take. But I was put on a new high blood pressure med called Minipress and my face and eyes swelled up very badly. My eyes swelled closed on some days. I'm not on five days of Prednisone to reverse the condition, which appears to be an allergic reaction.

Allergic reactions, or whatever causes mass swelling can be serious, as in Cindi's case. Is there another Drug that your Doctor could switch you to? If it was me, I would tell your Dr, and get off of the Metropolol and see if the Swelling goes away.
