I had a cryoablation with Prof Schilling back in 2014. It was successful and I was AF free for around 4 years. Unfortunately, after 3 years of horrible stress, the AF returned.
It was controlled with Bisoprolol for a few months and now I'm on Sotalol, but AF is starting to re-emerge and the Sotalol adversely affects my quality of life.
I am currently waiting for my follow-up Cardiology appointment but I am already considering a repeat ablation and if I decide to go ahead I would like it to be with Prof Schilling again.
I can't afford to have the procedure privately, but the problem is that I have moved to Wales since my ablation and I'm not sure if I can get an NHS referral to England.
Has anyone who lives in Wales had an ablation and know whether I would be able to get a referral?
