NSR From Beta Blocker ? Let Us Know

I was curious if others have gone from Afib ( or other arrhythmias ) to NSR by taking a beta blocker.

I’m actually quite amazed that in the past two weeks I’ve gone from a chronic state of PVC’s to NSR as a result of taking Metoprolol every 8 hours, 12.5 mg each dose.
I thought it might help lessen the frequencies of the irregular extra beats but it’s gone way past expectations.

Any of your experiences good or bad are appreciated.

PS I’ve already posted in a previous thread that when I had full blown afib years ago, the Beta Blockers and Flec didn’t help at all so this was a surprising and welcome outcome.

Thanks to all

This is not from personal experience, but I always hypothesized that a BB might help an adrenergic afibber stay in NSR. The logic is the BB acts as a "governor" on the heart rate and helps keep it modest, since afib generally occurs in the midst of activity in those with an adrenergic trigger.
