Cardizem and Magnesium

Does anyone have any experience with taking cardizem and magnesium at the same time? I've read of possible side effects when using both although not specifically the glycinate variety that I am using. Currently I am at 600 mg per day of Magnesium and sometimes I feel facial flushing which can be a side effect of both. I am trying to determine if it is a result of using both or is it one or the other? Or maybe something unrelated.

I have taken 500mg/day of Mg Glycinate, along with 120-240mg/day of Cardizem for over a year now. I get Flushing or reddening of the Face occasionally, but I never tracked down why.
