Dr. Coyne in Morristown, NJ - any info?
February 27, 2019 02:28PM
Parents live in Jersey (I'm in Florida). Dad is 78, looking to treat tachycardia that meds don't seem to be able to keep under control. The EP recommending the ablation is Dr. Coyne in Morristown, NJ. I was wondering if anyone had any info on him or not.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know anything about him, but I looked around a bit. Seems to have a good reputation and all, and he's board certified in EP.

But judging by his medicare billing data, he doesn't do a whole lot of ablations, and experience is the number 1, 2 and 3 most important qualities in an EP if you're considering ablation.

If I lived in NJ, I'd go see this guy.

Father went through with the ablation, and it was a resounding success. Short procedure, out next day. Was very happy with this doctor, in case any others want to consider him in the area.
