I recently read that there is in fact a specific gene that is linked to afib. It is 4q25. I have not been tested to see if I have it but if I were a betting man..... smiling smiley

In my initial meeting with Natale prior to my ablation in 2011 told him I had tried to eliminate many, many potential causes of atrial fibrillation without success. When I asked what he thought was the cause.....said I was genetically predisposed for the problem.
