Anyone take Flomax with their other meds for Afib? I have a kidney stone on top of all of this other craziness and they have now given me Flomax to try and help it pass...doctors hand out medication like candy on Halloween! eye popping smiley

Won't solve your current problem, but talk to your doc about using potassium citrate as a future preventative for stones. You can either use OTC or a prescription version <[www.urocit-k.com] Turns out that it is the citrate that is the active ingredient. It will change urine pH and reduce the likely hood of future stones by ~85% (as I recall - stats should be in the prescribing info on the link I posted above).

I had two stones 20 and 18 years ago, and investigated how to not have them again after the 2nd stone.

Not saying this will help pass your current stone.

Seems to be the week for Flomax. I've seen a couple of other people on another forum complaining that Flomax has caused/increased their afib.
