Shannon, Jackie and other beautiful A-Fibbers,

Is there are any supplements that I can take to reassure a better outcome of an ablation or to help recovery post ablation?
Anything I can do at all to help this process to go as smooth as possible.

Hey Llona, I would just coast into the ablation. Remember anything ugly you want to rear its head during the ablation. I'd be careful not to bulk up on supplements etc. that might "calm" the little monster before hand. Just a lot of positive thinking!!!!

Pre-ablation, I would just follow doctor’s orders.

Post-ablation, I can give you a list of “don’ts“ from stubborn, pig-headed personal experience! smiling smiley

Anecdotal evidence seems to indicate that the quality of the EP and ablation are much more important than any other factors. That said, following good general lifestyle guidelines and being sure you maintain electrolyte levels are always good practice.

Good healthy lifestyle but don't make the process of trying to be perfect worse than AFIB itself. The point of a good ablation is to put this behind you.
