Been lurking mostly, had a 24 hr. Holter, so any comments would be much appreciated.
I'm in chronic afib for about a year now. I'm 65, tall, way too thin, Low BP, MVP and some valve regurgitation.
CHADS 2, so still not taking anticoags, nor rate control drugs, as neuropathy affects my balance. Don't want to add more confusion to an upset system, risking life and limb, until I find a reasonable MD.
I live in Argentina, Southern Hemisphere, ("down under" as the Aussies say) and I've still to find a cardiologist who doesn't automatically prescribe Amiodarone as a first choice and argue, of course, *against* consulting the internet and forums.
My clinician (an endocrinologist) is helping me with weight, pre-diabetes, neuropathy and my supplements (Mg (bisglycinate and others), taurine, CoQ10, Vit D3, K2, EPA/DHA, Ribose, Theamine, Carnitine, Primrose oil in the usual doses)
The following is translated from Spanish so I hope it makes sense.
Conclusions:
Afib with a high average ventricular response.
Isolated ventricular extrasystoles, coupled, bi and trigeminate, polymorphous with 2 runs of monomorph Tachycardia.
Some isolated pauses of up to 2.3 sec that can be attributed to a high degree AV block.
No significant changes in ST
Symptoms referred have no correlation to ECG. (I wrote down innumerable instances of palpitations)
