Heard this this morning on tv. search [www.google.com]

Lots more to go through.

See also this WaPo article:

Young and middle-aged people, barely sick with covid-19, are dying of strokes

Doctors sound alarm about patients in their 30s and 40s left debilitated or dead. Some didn’t even know they were infected.

OK, so now I'm worried . . . .

Don't know why the clotting problem would be unknown to a doctor? Go to 32:15

I have 2 weeks worth of 5mg Eliquis samples that I “forgot” to take during my last AF episode in 2018. I’ve already decided that either I or my wife contract COVID-19 then we will cut the pills in half and do the 2.5mg BID prophylaxis for PE. If a medical professional has a problem with it well, then, they can have a problem with it. I personally think that 2.5mg BID is virtually harmless in anyone who doesn’t have a serious contraindication like hemophilia, von Willebrand’s or the like.
