The study, which followed 132,000 patients at a Utah based medical center, found that the risk of newly developed atrial fibrillation jumped almost three-fold when blood levels of vitamin D were high.

From the above: “ (Author) said the normal range for vitamin D was 41 to 80 nanograms per deciliter (ng/dl). Patients in the study were designated as having excessive vitamin D had had readings above 100 ng/dl.”
Steve Carr’s target Vit D is 66 ng/dl (165 nmol/L) so still well below the max as per the article (and well within optimal range). How on earth folks can manage to get their Vit D beyond 100 ng/dl is beyond me - short of taking 10000 iu daily indefinitely......

That would be me (both the 10,000 IU/day and 25OHD > 100 ng/dL, per my doc. It has had no impact on my afib as I've done this for years, but long after afib started. Not that I'm suggesting this for anyone else. Happened to be >150 ng/dL on my November 2019 bloods.
