Pityriasis Rosea

Pityriasis Rosea

My daughter has Pityriasis Rosea, a nasty rash on her body, she has had it now for about 3 weeks, there doesn't seem to be a cure just to run its course which some have it for many months. I was reading online about different things people do for it, not many things to help it. I was wondering if anybody here has had it or knows anything about it.

thanks
Liz

Pityriasis Rosea is thought to be from a herpes virus. It is NOT sexually transmitted.
Zinc has been found to kill the herpes virus. You might try putting some Desitin on the rashes. It is available over-the-counter.

Thank you Jim, I will let my daughter know what you have said, it sure is a miserable looking rash.

Look at EarthClinics remedies. [earthclinic.com]
Activated Charcoal and Zinc Oxide Cream.
Supplements, Milk Thistle. Just some of them.
