Good to be aware. Corn syrup often called High Fructose Corn Syrup is definitely something to avoid. Not only is it really bad for glucose management, the majority of the corn syrup available is produced from GMO corn which leads into that whole negative factor scenario and health risk factors. Unfortunately, in packaged, canned and commercially prepared foods, it's very prevalent as it's economical. You can avoid by reading labels very carefully, but that doesn't help with restaurant foods. It's especially prevalent in soft drinks or sodas.
