Anybody used Tetracycline ?
I had a cyst/boil/ on my left shoulder blade lanced Thursday.
He prescribed Tetracycline 500 mg twice a day for 30 days.
I did not ask him about any type of side effects.
When i got them / Tetracycline it came with a printout of all the side effects.
2 1/2 pages of them.
I haven't taken any of them yet.
I am keeping it covered & open draining, changing bandage twice a day with Vaseline on it the way the nurse said.

I'm sipping on 10ppm colloidal silver.Letting it soak in under my tongue.
I bought it at GNC It called Silver Biotics. Sounds great on the box.
Off to get some Turmeric
<[www.earthclinic.com];
has tons of people claiming Turmeric worked wonders on
Cure Boils, Staph Infections etc.
P.S. All Turmeric is not created equal. Got a read the labels.

Below is some of the Tetracycline side effects that got my attention.

Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction may include: rash, skin lesions/sores, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing, new or worsening swelling/pain in the joints,

(((( chest pain, fast/irregular heartbeat.)))) This is not a complete list of possible side effects.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. In the US -Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. You may report side effects to FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088.In Canada - Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. You may report side effects to Health Canada at 1-866-234-2345.

Just put some oil of oregano mixed with olive oil or jojoba oil right on the boil area. That is highly antimicrobial. It's too hot to use plain so the oil tones it down. You can either buy the liquid OO or capsules and just open. Ingesting the OO will also be highly antimicrobial. Same thing, consume with olive oil so it doesn't burn the tummy. Hot, strong, powerful, highly effective oil.

You should use the colloidal silver topically because that's where it needs to be to work quickly.

Took Tetracycline for many years from teenager to mid 20's for acne (that's what they used at the time). Subsequently they discovered that long term use caused yellowing of the teeth and my dentist spotted this immediately. I am now in the process of having my bridges replaced by implants of a much lighter shade to be followed by veneers or caps of the same lighter shade at some point. The 'whitening systems' seen on TV do not work for this.

Aside from that I sufferred no ill effects from taking Tetracycline but gather that there are much better antibiotics available these days.

Do not hesitate to speak to your pharmacist about your concerns. In Canada, this is actually a government paid RIGHT. You can take a pharmacist's time for a 1/2 hour consult and the government will pay for it (although the pharmacist generally makes loads more dough from filling pill bottles).
